Maybe it was his age. Maybe it was because he drove a tank of a car and thought he ruled the road. MAYBE he lives by my personal pet peeve (people who think the rules don’t apply to them). But today at lunch, I witnessed this…

Man in an “old man” type car apparently decided that waiting in line for the turn signal was too much to ask. He pulls into the lane on his left (which just happened to be into oncoming traffic). But he didn’t stop there. The light was still red. He didn’t want to wait. He turned LEFT on a red light and proceeded to go on his merry way.

I think I saw that same guy after dropping Kayla at school one morning! He was in an old man car and we were driving in front of Santa Fe HS during school zone hours. He would back off and then come flying up on the back of the car in front of him and laying on his horn. She was doing 25 for school zone but he apparently had more important matters to tend to! When we all had to stop at the light at SF and 15th, she pulled up next to him, rolled down her window and read him the riot act. I wanted to go hug her! I wouldn't have had the nerve but loved watching her put him in his place!!
