To all of my European Traveling Friends…

My friend, Tonna, and I are working on a little project and we need your help. For those of you who have traveled to Europe, what are some of the things you would add to your “must buy” list? (i.e. Poland = pottery, Prague = crystal, etc.) We’d love your feedback and if you have any friends who might have input, direct them here because we’d like as much feedback as possible. Thanks!

Germany - cuckoo clock
Salzburg - painted eggs
Belgium - lace
Florence - leather (of course)
Italy - gelato!
also those wooden people that fit inside each other: get them somewhere (I don't remember where)

I might think of more later.

I got my wooden stacking dolls in Bulgaria. In Turkey, you need to buy leather. I know a guy over there. I think we are pledged to be married or I'm supposed to have his children or something like that.

Mexico – Tequila

Russia - Vodka

Cuba – Cigars

Germany - Beer

Funny but true how all the foreign countries are known for their alcohol. I am also sorry Stacey that my family issues have spilled over onto your blog. Tammy is going to kill him when she reads this about the gin.

Wow, you all are awesome. Thanks for your input - except for "cousin Brad". I won't be importing alcohol, sorry. Everyone else, keep the comments coming!

Not exactly Europe, but a coworker brought back chocolate from Russia and we ate it yesterday. I was in love with Lindt and Milka while over there, but this chocolate is THE best I have EVER tasted.
